See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

Context

Context does matter.
For instance, if you had bothered to search up the name Ainsley and yet still accuse me of supporting Nazism, you’d have some questionable impressions of nazism.
Before tagging me with every label you can lay your hands on, including encouraging suicide, do acknowledge the fact that I’m suicidal myself. The quote is there to remind me how pointless it’d be if I committed suicide. Suicide is an option, although my abusive family convinces me that I’m a waste of money and killing myself would only send me to hell.
Is it meant to be read by you? No. You had no context reading it. You’re not supposed to get it. Are you responsible for asking for the context? No.
Is the context important? Yes.
See what I’m pointing at here? Kinda like the phrase “niggerfaggot”, coined by Donald Glover in his skit, in which he had both a homosexual man and himself starred. Now, is that comedy, or should that be banned?
Context. Please consider filling yourself in on the background information before starting to type on your wall of text.
It matters.
As a lesson, this has failed miserably. I knew you’re quick at coming to conclusions but I expected anons for sure. Ugh. Maybe I should quit lurking and start participating.

What is your opinion on the whole Poods thing? He keeps getting dragged deeper in to this whole antisemitism stuff and it's pissing me off.

neko-puff answered:

Why do you people like dragging me into YouTuber drama? This is like the 3rd ask I’ve gotten on the subject. :\

First off, if you’re here to criticize because I’m not Jewish so my opinion doesn’t matter, you might want to keep scrolling.

Long answer: I believe what he did was wrong. He got a lot of backlash for it, which is an appropriate way to respond. What he did was shit, I’m not gonna sugar coat it.

However, when did this happen… like January? Why is this suddenly all over the news? Why are we caring a month later?

I refuse to click onto those websites and give them money for using Pewdiepie’s name along with anti-Semitic, because those are two things that sell and sell fast. (hah where’s the outrage over anti-Muslim comments from like half the world) Plus, all the titles are either dramatized for clicks or only give half the truth, so I’m unsure which one is actually using facts and which are just spouting off whatever will get them attention.

Yes, what he did was wrong. Yes, there should be consequences. A warning from YouTube would be fine. Heck, Maker pulling their line is fine (though I question the Disney studio’s true motives, whether they’re just cleaning their hands so they don’t get more backlash for anti-jew views or if they actually don’t agree with his content).

Cancelling Scare Pewdiepie 2 seemed a bit cruel, considering so many people went into working on it. It reminds me much of the Penn State scandal, where they punished everyone within a 2 mile radius of working with Sandusky, including the players on the team. It’s not just Felix suffering for his mistake, it’s the other people working on the show.

Which makes me laugh, considering many comedians and other youtube channels make if not equal to but serious comments about their hate for the Jewish community and other minorities. They’re still going. But Pewdiepie is “big” so he matters more I guess…

My point being, we care so much about YouTuber drama that we ignore the other atrocities in the world. There’s homeless people freezing in New York. There’s veterans that aren’t getting the proper medical health care they need. There’s poverty level mothers being pushed away from aid programs. Where’s the outcry there? Where’s the outcry when it’s physically hurting people, instead of hurting another person’s feelings?

Not saying feelings aren’t as important, but they pass. Just like all this drama will.

when did pewdiepie say homophobic things? (I'm definitely not saying this too see him get dragged)

hate-police answered:

You had to have been watching his videos honestly. Over the course of the few years I watched, I remember him making gay jokes and making questionable comments of a homophobic nature and then he’d either IMMEDIATELY go “oh but I’m not homophobic"or at the end of his video he’d be like ‘I was just pokin’ fun dont take it seriously’ and… I’m literally almost confident he’s dropped the f slur in a few of his older videos, but my memory is really fuzzy. Also with the one series with the fuckin crash course bike game thing (can’t remember) he chose the dual bike with father/son and I’m just now realizing that he made WAY too many innapropriate situations between the father and the son, like legit straight up pedophilia jokes and parental abuse jokes.

He has ALWAYS been trash.
He just finally fucking slipped up badly enough that someone kicked him in the ass for it.

What a nigger faggot, he’s not the youtuber famous for using the “f word”. Get your facts straight, cunt.

just to clear some things up…

It came to my attention yesterday that some have been pointing to my videos and saying that I am giving credibility to the anti-Semitic movement, and my fans are part of it as well for watching. I don’t want to cite the sources because I don’t want to give them any more attention.

This originated from a video I made a couple of weeks ago. I was trying to show how crazy the modern world is, specifically some of the services available online. I picked something that seemed absurd to me—That people on Fiverr would say anything for 5 dollars.

I think it’s important to say something and I want to make one thing clear: I am in no way supporting any kind of hateful attitudes.

I make videos for my audience. I think of the content that I create as entertainment, and not a place for any serious political commentary. I know my audience understand that and that is why they come to my channel.  Though this was not my intention, I understand that these jokes were ultimately offensive.

As laughable as it is to believe that I might actually endorse these people, to anyone unsure on my standpoint regarding hate-based groups: No, I don’t support these people in any way.

Thanks for reading.

You do realize, Felix, that the only thing you’ve proved is that your economic privilege has evidently emboldened you to take advantage of desperately impoverished people to make a point? If you want so badly to expose injustice, why don’t you support an activist movement or maybe just have a candid talk with your 13-year old fan base about racism and anti-Semitism, topics that you’re apparently so passionate about. Also, if you are really so concerned over the backlash you’re receiving, one would think that you would take greater effort to publicly denounce the neo-nazi scum that equates a brofist to their movement.

This is a great example of how condescending a tumblr social justice warrior can be. It’s almost as if you don’t want people to take you seriously. Perhaps one day you will be able to donate millions to help African children to receive cleaner water, just like what he has done.
Until then, keep on telling yourself how terrible of a person he is.
After all, the biggest sign of immaturity is to see everything in black and white.

So today this renowned chef decided to make me a free dinner.  Apparently he’d worked all day on it.  The first thing I noticed was that it wasn’t exactly centered on the plate, so that was mostly what I talked about for the rest of the meal.  I also made sure to let him know that I knew of other chefs who had made similar meals to this one, only better, and that he needs to copy their techniques from now on.  After I’d finished every bite, I told him that it was awful and that he’d better make me a better free meal tomorrow.  He looked disappointed and I rolled my eyes.  Oh, boo-fucking-hoo.  This guy is a rich, famous chef, so what does he have to be sad about?  Some of us have real problems, you know.  Honestly, some people can be so entitled.
